On this blog I was supposed to post my thoughts and reflections about life-observations. Unfortunately, after a few posts I stopped publishing anything, because I simply didn't know what to write about. At first I didn't think that looking at the world and it's different aspects and then write the reflections about it would be so demanding. It turns out that I'm not the only one who has this problem. Some of my classmates also found it pretty difficult. I started reflecting about it and I think that the main reason of it is that we just don't look at the details of every situation. Maybe we don't do so, because we focus on simple things. Such as a time that bus arrives, going to school or staring at adorable dogs playing in the park. It doesn't mean that we are narrow-minded, but we just don't analyse every observation. I think that this is why this excercise is so challenging. We have to see things that we didn't focus on before.
Video #2
I watched a very interesting video titled "Your life is not a movie". The main message is that we shouldn't compare our life to the movie, because it will never look like that. Films don't exist for real but we do. They only provoke some emotions and if we want to feel and experience all the types of emotions, we have to go out to the world. Our life is based on all those good and the bad feelings and even if sometimes we feel low, this emotions are still much better than in movies , because they are real. Sorrow--> Sometimes there is a happiness but other times there comes a sorrow. Dunes--> Wind creates dunes on the sand. Desolation--> After he left me, I felt a big desolation.
I hope you don't mean to say that 'challenging' means useless. Forcing ourselves to do new stuff is how we improve, develop and grow.
