Does school prepare us for real life?

In my opinion school doesn't prepare us for real life. Teachers instill only book knowladge into learners. We are being thaught dry facts and definitions. This way of thinking doesn't give children a chance to broaden their horizons. School also doesn't teach us how to deal with real life problems so it will be hard for children to solve them one day. The only advantage important to learners which prepares them to real life is that in school they get to know hot to work in groups and how to make friends. To sum up it's obvious that school gives us some good advise but they aren't enough for real life.

I watched a very interesting video titled "Your life is not a movie". The main message is that we shouldn't compare our life to the movie, because it will never look like that. Films don't exist for real but we do. They only provoke some emotions and if we want to feel and experience all the types of emotions, we have to go out to the world. Our life is based on all those good and the bad feelings and even if sometimes we feel low, this emotions are still much better than in movies , because they are real. Sorrow--> Sometimes there is a happiness but other times there comes a sorrow. Dunes--> Wind creates dunes on the sand. Desolation--> After he left me, I felt a big desolation.

Why do so many people believe in supernatural things?

   Even though we can explain everything thanks to the science, there are still people who believe in supernatural things, for example, divination, prejudices or even ghosts. Some people do that because it helps them to understand some difficult life situations. It is just easier. People believe in divitation which predicts their future because thanks to it then they can be prepared for the future events. Believers in supernatural powers are afraid of their future and just need something to explain them some life difficulties.
