One week ago my old friend Adam organised his birthday party and he didn't invite his good classmate Mark only because other people from the class didn't want him to come. It was horrible on his part, because they had a very good relation and he were spending a lot of great time with Mark. Unfortunately Adam had chenged since we are not so close and now the most important thing for him is to be popular even if it is hurtfull to his friend. I was disappointed with his behaviour, because he was always so assertive in everything he was doing and he would never do something only to appeal to others. I looked at him and I started to think that it is terrible what people are able to do to be popular.

Today, when I was coming back home from school I saw a group of elementary students in the bus. What made me feel frustrated was that they didn't talk to each other , didn't even look at each other because of their phones. They were so busy with playing games, taking photos, texting and doing all the virtual stuff that they didn't care about ,,what's here and now" in real world. Some time ago kids were spending all days outside playing football in a park, hide- and- seek in a playground exploring the beauty of the world. Nowadays, kids have their phones from their early childhood, so they have smaller chance to admire the surrounding and to explore new things because they rather look at the screen. They are addicted to their phones and if now it looks like this, it's terrifying to think how it will be in ten years.

A few days ago when I was in a park I saw a group of teenage girls. They were wearing high heels, full make-up and provocating clothes. At first, I wasn't moved by this but when I finally realized that they used to be my good friends from elementary school- I was shocked. They were always so shy and likeable. I remember talking with them about natural beauty and about being ourselves. I couldn't believe that now they look like all these girls who we were laughing at. It's unbelievable how big influence our environment has on our way of being.
